According to the poll, the populations of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia proved less happy with 8, 9, 11 and 7% respectively. Azerbaijan and Armenia were ranked 111th and 112th. Panama was ranked first on subjective well-being (with 61% of happy population), followed by Kosta-Rika (44%) and Denmark (40%). Six of the top 10 countries are in Latin America. Overall, countries in the Americas and Northern Europe rank highest, while Syria and Afghanistan rank last.
