IS suicide bomber detonates truck near Syrian-Turkish border![]() October 13, 2014 - 15:13 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - An Islamic State suicide bomber detonated a truck laden with explosives in the northern part of the besieged Kurdish town of Kobani, near the Turkish border crossing with Syria, a monitoring group and Kurdish sources said on Monday, Oct 13, according to Reuters. The attack took place about 2 km north of Kobani, which has been the scene of heavy clashes between Kurdish forces and Islamic State fighters, who have tightened their grip on the city, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights and Kurdish officials said. Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
