Israeli airstrike kills top Hezbollah commander’s son

PanARMENIAN.Net - The son of a late, top Hezbollah commander was killed Sunday, Jan 18, by an Israeli airstrike in Syria, Hezbollah said, according to CNN.

Jihad Mughniyeh, the son of Imad Mughniyeh, was born in 1989. His father was assassinated in Syria in 2008.

According to a statement from the Lebanon-based militant group Hezbollah, a group was doing a field inspection in Quneitra when a helicopter opened fire. At least six people were killed, Hezbollah said.
