Russia extends tax free gas supply to Armenia till 2016June 24, 2015 - 17:47 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Russia’s Federation Council ratified a protocol extending the tax-free gas, diamond and oil supplies to Armenia till 2016, Rossiyskaya Gazeta said. On December 2, 2013, an Armenia-Russia intergovernmental agreement was inked stipulating for tax-free supplies of Russian gas, oil and diamonds to Armenia for local consumption. A relevant protocol was signed on December 26, 2014. The protocol envisages extension of item 1 of article 5 of the agreement, with no taxes to be imposed on gas, diamond and oil supplies to Armenia till December 31, 2015.
