Ucom, an Armenian telecommunication company, is reportedly in talks with French multinational telecommunications corporation Orange to buy its Armenian branch.

Orange Armenia does not have the scale necessary for generating investments required, according to ArmeniaNow.

Ucom, an Internet, IP television and landline digital phone services provider has a license for providing 4G/LTE services.

According to local media estimates, Orange Armenia mobile network may have a market value worth $80-120 million.

No deal has been officially confirmed yet.
