Church of Holy Spirit in Prague transferred to Armenian parishOctober 12, 2015 - 13:09 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Catholic Church of Holy Spirit in Prague was transferred to the parish of St. Gregory the Illuminator of the Armenian Apostolic Church for timeless use, Orer.am reports. The transfer was made possible through the efforts of Barsegh Vardapet Plavchyan, the Armenian Apostolic Church pastor in the Czech Republic and Cardinal Dominik Duka of the Catholic Church. Armenian and Czech clergy representatives, Czech MP Marek Benda, representatives of the Armenian diplomatic mission, members of the Armenian community attended the event. Armenian Ambassador to Czech Republic Tigran Seyranyan thanked Cardinal Duka and the Czech nation, adding that the Armenians will not only use the church, but also monitor its condition. At the ceremony, Cardinal Duka addressed the gathering and congratulated the Armenians, handing over the symbolic keys to the church to Plavchyan.
