VivaCell-MTS donates AMD 50 mln for orphan, elderly outreachOctober 12, 2015 - 17:48 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Orran benevolent non-governmental organization held its 10th annual charity dinner. The event aimed to raise funds to continue providing food, social, medical and psychological services, vocational training, and organizing cultural activities for over 200 children and 90 elderly people in Yerevan and Vanadzor branches of Orran NGO. This year’s gala dinner marked the 15th anniversary of Orran, featuring various entertainment activities, the traditional live auction and a benevolent lottery. Every year VivaCell-MTS makes a significant contribution to meeting the fundraising objective of the gala dinner. The Company has allocated over AMD 331 million for the implementation of Orran projects since 2006. During this year’s dinner some AMD 74 million have been raised overall, with AMD 50 million of which donated by VivaCell-MTS. Another AMD 2,840,000 were donated by the Yirikian family. “I am glad to support the initiatives of Orran, an organization that has set challenging objectives and offers solutions to acute problems, keeping children and the elderly in need in the center of its attention,” VivaCell-MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian said.
