Glendale Mayor Ara Najarian endorsed for L.A. County Supervisor

PanARMENIAN.Net - Current Glendale Mayor and candidate for the 2016 LA County Supervisor’s race, Ara Najarian, received the endorsement of Councilmember and former Mayor of South Pasadena, Dr. Richard Schneider.

"Ara Najarian is a thoughtful politician who looks beyond traditional ideology and makes good decisions based on science and logic. We came together because we have a common interest and by working together on issues important to our city, Ara has become our ally in South Pasadena,” said Schneider.

“I am delighted and humbled to receive this important endorsement from Councilmember Schneider, who I am proud to say, joins a growing list of esteemed leaders from across the great 5th district,” commented Najarian.

Najarian has been re-elected to the Glendale City Council two times since 2005 and is now serving his third term as Mayor. In 2006, he was elected to represent the north cities of L.A. County on the Los Angeles Metro (MTA) Board of Directors and served as the Chairman of Metro in 2009 and 2010. In addition, Najarian has served on the Metrolink board of Directors from 2006 to present.
