National police deputy spokesman Col. Songpol Wattanachai confirmed to journalists the authenticity of a leaked police memo mentioning the warning. But he said Friday, December 4, that the information is an unconfirmed intelligence report. The Thai capital was the target of a terrorist bombing in August that killed 20 people, but it was apparently unrelated to the IS. There have been few signs of IS activity in Thailand, though it actively recruits volunteers from its Southeast Asian neighbors Malaysia and Indonesia. ![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert.
