Russia flies 4,200 sorties in Syria since start of bombing campaign

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russia's air force has flown more than 4,200 sorties in Syria since Moscow began a bombing campaign in the country on September 30, Russian news agencies cited the Russian General Staff as saying on Tuesday, December 15, Reuters reports.

Up to 145 sorties have been carried out by strategic, long-range bombers, TASS news agency reported.
