Armenia included in UN Honour roll for 2016February 17, 2016 - 14:34 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia was included in the UN Honour roll 2016 for paying regular budget assessments in full within the 30 day due period specified in Financial Regulation 3.5, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement. According to a UN report, the Armenian government transferred $150,039 to the UN in January as a regular budget contribution for 2016. Overall, only 27 Member States have paid their regular budget assessments on time. According to the UN, contributions and advances are considered as due and payable in full within 30 days of the receipt of the communication of the Secretary-General or on the first day of the calendar year to which they relate, whichever is later. As of January 1 of the following calendar year, the unpaid balance of such contributions and advances are considered to be one year in arrears.
