6 Russian military helicopters delivered to Azerbaijan in 2015

PanARMENIAN.Net - Helicopter design and manufacturing company Russian Helicopters delivered as many as 212 aircraft to various customers in 2015; Azerbaijan received six Mi-17V-1 military helicopters, Kommersant reports.

According to the newspaper, at least 23 units of Mi-17V-5 were supplied to and six Ka-31 helicopters were modernized for India.

Other vehicles were shipped to South Korea, Algeria, Iraq, Peru, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and elsewhere.

Russia exported 65 battle tanks, 78 armored combat vehicles and 118 large caliber artillery systems (howitzers, cannons, MLRS and larger than 100-mm mortars) to Azerbaijan.

2013 data show that Russia exported 10 combat tanks, 10 armored combat vehicles, 438 large caliber combat systems, 25 attack helicopters to Azerbaijan.
