On April 2, Azerbaijan unleashed a large-scale offensive against Nagorno Karabakh, which claimed hundreds of lives on both sides. The sides reached a cessation of hostilities in Moscow on April 5. All that time, Tagiev was in a coma, MP Aydin Mirzazade said in a Facebook post. The soldier was wounded near Martakert and subsequently underwent three surgeries. He was buried in Mingachevir. Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
