Azeri soldier, wounded in 4-day Karabakh war, dies

PanARMENIAN.Net - An Azerbaijani soldier, Ragim Tagiev who was heavily wounded during the 4-day war in early April on the Nagorno Karabakh contact line, has died.

On April 2, Azerbaijan unleashed a large-scale offensive against Nagorno Karabakh, which claimed hundreds of lives on both sides. The sides reached a cessation of hostilities in Moscow on April 5.

All that time, Tagiev was in a coma, MP Aydin Mirzazade said in a Facebook post.

The soldier was wounded near Martakert and subsequently underwent three surgeries.

He was buried in Mingachevir.
