Armenian soldier’s condition assessed as serious but stable

PanARMENIAN.Net - The condition of Tigran Mkrtchyan, the Armenian soldier who was wounded in an Azeri cross border attack on Sunday, July 10, is assessed as serious but stable, Tert.am reports.

The serviceman underwent surgery once he was admitted to the Noyemberyan medical center.

According to Defense Ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan, Mkrtchyan was injured in the chest.

The Azerbaijani forces launched a gunfire attack on the Armenia-Georgia interstate highway on July 8.
