Lavrov calls for clarifying further steps in Karabakh settlement

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at a meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev that he intends to discuss concrete steps of settling the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

Lavrov is currently on a working visit in Baku (July 11-12).

“President Vladimir Putin is satisfied with the outcome of the meeting in Saint Petersburg,” Lavrov said.

“I hope this meeting [to Baku and, earlier, Yerevan] will help clarify the next steps.

Following a CSTO Foreign Ministers’ Council session in Yerevan, Lavrov held informal talks with the Armenian side over the conflict.
