Hearings on Nagorno Karabakh to be held in European ParliamentApril 17, 2007 - 15:36 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Hearings are scheduled in the European Parliament on frozen conflicts in the South Caucasus. They are being prepared by coordinators of different factions, which are represented in parliament's foreign relations commission. The exact date has not been fixed yet. It is worth mentioning that earlier only hearings on the South Ossetia were scheduled in the European Parliament. However on the initiative of German "green" party members Jema Ozmedir and Angelina Beia the parliament will also hear reports on Nagorno Karabakh and Abkhazia, ANS CM radio station reports.![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
