Aronian ties 2016 Sinquefield Cup round 7

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian tied his game against Viswanathan Anand in round 7 of Saint Louis-hosted 2016 Sinquefield Cup. The remaining games of the chess tournament also ended in a tie.

After round 7, Wesley So (U.S.) is leading the tournament with 4,5 points, followed by Bulgaria’s Veselin Topalov and Anand (4 points each). Aronian, Maxime Vachier – Lagrave, Hikaru Nakamura, Fabiano Caruana and Ding Liren have gained 3,5 points each followed by Anish Giri (3 points). Peter Svidler comes last with 2 points to his score, R-Sport reports.
