Karen Karapetyan appointed Armenia’s new PM

PanARMENIAN.Net - President Serzh Sargsyan on Tuesday, September 13 signed a decision to appoint former Yerevan Mayor, ex-director of Hayrusgazard CJSC Karen Karapetyan as Armenia’s Prime Minister.

Former PM Hovik Abrahamyan submitted his resignation at a government session on September 8.

On the same day, Armenia's ruling Republican Party (RPA) approved Karapetyan's candidacy as the country's next premier.
