HayPost cancels two fresh stamps for 25-year-old independent ArmeniaSeptember 21, 2016 - 16:05 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - HayPost Trust Management B.V. on Wednesday, September 21 is putting into circulation two stamps dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Armenia’s Independence. The official cancellation ceremony took place at the Presidential Palace and was carried out by President Serzh Sargsyan. The stamps have been printed in Cartor Printing House, France, with face values of AMD200 and AMD300. The stamp with face value of AMD200 features the words “25th anniversary” and “Independence”, as well as the waving Armenian tricolor on the background of blue sky symbolizing the twenty five years of independence and statehood of the country. The stamp with face value of AMD 300 is inscribed “25th anniversary” consisting of a collage sights in Yerevan showing the progress of the country throughout those twenty five years. The stamps have been designed by the Managing Director of HayPost Trust Management B.V., Juan Pablo Gechidjian, and the designers of HayPost CJSC Vahagn Mkrtchyan and David Dovlatyan.
