SOCAR budget transfers down by 12.5% in a month

PanARMENIAN.Net - The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) transferred nearly AZN 119,443,000 or over $74 million to the state budget in September 2016, down by AZN 17,044,000 or 12.49% against the same period last year.

SOCAR transferred over AZN 1,024,827,000 of some $637 million to the state budget in January-September 2016, down by AZN 110,418,000 or 9.73% compared to the previous year, APA reports.

SOCAR is a wholly state-owned national oil company headquartered in Baku, Azerbaijan. The company produces oil and natural gas from onshore and offshore fields in the Azerbaijani section of the Caspian Sea.
