Armenia exports grew by a third in January

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia's exports amounted to $124.4 million in January 2017, up by a total of 35.4% against the same period last year.

As the National Statistical Service reports, Russia-bound exports surged by 80%, while those to the EU countries and Iraq increased by 21.5% and 24.4%, respectively.

Exports to the United Arab Emirates grew sixfold, totaling some $6.1 million

In the reporting period, the overall trade turnover was up by 45.5% compared to the results registered last year.

The country's exports amounted to over $1,78 billion in 2016, which is record high against figures unveiled in the past 10 years.
