Detained blogger Lapshin meets lawyer in AzerbaijanMarch 14, 2017 - 11:05 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Russian-Israeli blogger Alexander Lapshin, who is in prison in Azerbaijan, has met his lawyer Eduard Chernin on Monday, March 13, APA reports. The lawyer said his defendant will soon meet his relatives. “Lapshin has no complaints. His family will come to see him either during or after holidays,” he added. Chernin said it is unknown when the investigation will be completed. Lapshin divides his time between Israel and a few other places. He was arrested on December 15 in Minsk, the capital of Belarus, at the request of Azeri authorities who demanded his extradition. Lapshin was arrested following his visits to Karabakh as well as due to criticalposts in his Russian-language blog against Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
