Armenia's Levon Aronian still leads Saint Louis Rapid & Blitz

PanARMENIAN.Net - After the Saint Louis Rapid tournament the action has now shifted to the 18-round blitz event.

In the first nine round robin games, Armenia's Levon Aronian lost to Fabiano Caruana alone, defeated Lê Quang Liêm, Garry Kasparov, Leinier Dominguez Perez, Viswanathan Anand and Ian Nepomniachtchi, and drew with Hikaru Nakamura, Sergey Karjakin and David Navara.

Caruana currently leads the table in blitz, but Aronian tops the list according to the combined results.

The last nine round robin games will follow on Friday, August 18.
