Syrian army troops press forward in southern Idlib![]() December 18, 2017 - 13:21 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Russian Aerospace Forces unleashed a powerful assault over southern Idlib on Monday, December 18 morning, targeting the jihadist defenses near the town of Abu Dali, Al-Masdar News reports. Russian jets flying out of the Hmaymim Airbase in Jableh reportedly launched several airstrikes this morning, as the Syrian Arab Army attacked Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s defenses in southern Idlib. Meanwhile, in northeast Hama, the Russian Air Force launched at least a dozen airstrikes over the key towns of Al-Shakusiyah and Al-Rahjan. According to a military source in Hama, the Syrian Army is making another attempt to capture Al-Rahjan, as their previous tries failed to expel Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham and Jaysh Al-Izza from the town. ![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
