Syrian army troops press forward in southern Idlib

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Russian Aerospace Forces unleashed a powerful assault over southern Idlib on Monday, December 18 morning, targeting the jihadist defenses near the town of Abu Dali, Al-Masdar News reports.

Russian jets flying out of the Hmaymim Airbase in Jableh reportedly launched several airstrikes this morning, as the Syrian Arab Army attacked Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s defenses in southern Idlib.

Meanwhile, in northeast Hama, the Russian Air Force launched at least a dozen airstrikes over the key towns of Al-Shakusiyah and Al-Rahjan.

According to a military source in Hama, the Syrian Army is making another attempt to capture Al-Rahjan, as their previous tries failed to expel Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham and Jaysh Al-Izza from the town.
