OSCE MG: Karabakh status in exchange for 5 regions

PanARMENIAN.Net - The OSCE Minsk Group feared frustration of talks and end of the peaceful process, the MG French Co-chair Bernard Fassiersaid.



"Fortunately, our fear was dispersed after meetings with the heads of Armenia and Azerbaijan and officials from both sides. Presently, talks are held on return of five regions forming the security belt around Karabakh. After that, the OSCE proposes to determine Karabakh's status. Upon return of five regions, Karabakh is free to proceed to status talks with Azerbaijan," Amb. Fassier said, Bakililar.AZ reports.
