Russian fighter jets bomb Georgian town of Gori

PanARMENIAN.Net - On August 8 morning, four Russian fighter jets entered Georgian airspace and bombed the towns of Gori and Kareli near the breakaway region of South Ossetia, Rustavi -2 Georgian TV Channel reported. One of the jets was shot down, it said.



Georgian Ministry of Interior said that three Su-24 crossed Georgian airspace and threw down two bombs. No information on victims is provided.
