Covid-19: 149 people on hospital waiting lists in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - 149 patients infected with Covid-19 are waiting for hospital treatment in Armenia, Deputy Health Minister Gevorg Simonyan said on his Facebook page on Monday, March 29 evening.

According to him, the Health Ministry is doing everything to increase the number of "Covid centers" and hospital beds for the treatment of patients with coronavirus.

If there is no positive breakthrough in the situation, he said, the country will reach bed capacity in a matter of a few days.

The number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Armenia grew by 750 to reach 191,491 on Tuesday. So far, 172,605 people have recovered, 3497 have died from the coronavirus in the country, while 890 others carrying the virus have died from other causes.
