Journalist raises problems with Armenian e-health vaccine platform abroadJuly 7, 2021 - 17:38 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Journalist and broadcaster Mark Grigoryan has said that the Covid-19 vaccine QR codes obtained in Armenia apparently are not recognized in Europe. Grigoryan published evidence of his vaccination with AstraZeneca shots and said he was preparing to travel to Norway, which allows vaccinated foreigners to enter the country, but discovered at the last minute that the QR codes issued by Armed eHealth are not recognized in Norway. After trying to find out the specifics of the problem from people behind the application, the National Center for Disease Control and the Ministry of Health, Grigoryan said he was ultimately told to write a letter to the Minister of Health. Apparently, a portion of the AstraZeneca vaccines were produced by the Serum Institute of India (SII), which has not received approval from the European Medicines Agency, although it is unclear weather Armenia has purchased India-manufactured vaccines. According to recent data provided by the Health Ministry, some 90,000 vaccine doses have been administered in Armenia so far. Photo.
