Baku: EU, U.S. share responsibility for Armenia’s “destabilizing actions”

PanARMENIAN.Net - Washington and Brussels’s “open pro-Armenian public position against the background of revanchist sentiments in Armenia can create a dangerous illusion in Yerevan that the EU and the United States will support it in the “next possible provocations against Azerbaijan”.

In that event, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry claimed, the EU and the U.S. will share responsibility for any destabilizing actions by Armenia.

“At a time when a unique opportunity is being created to achieve sustainable peace, stability and security based on the basic norms and principles of international law, we once again call on all parties to refrain from steps that could have a negative impact on peace efforts and provoke new waves of escalation and tension in the region," he said.
