I especially refer to pensioners,” he said. Tunyan added that as promised, by the end of this year a package of improvements to the declaration system will be introduced to simplify the process, given the expansion of declarants. “Considering this, a solution must be proposed to avoid difficulties for them. In my view, that solution will be acceptable to everyone,” the MP said. Currently, all salaried employees in Armenia are required to submit annual income declarations starting November 1. Those who declare can benefit from compensation of social expenses such as healthcare and education costs incurred for themselves or their family members during the reporting year. Yerevan has dismissed Turkey’s demand to shut down the Armenian nuclear power plant as “inappropriate”.
