Kazakhstan offers stable wheat deliveries to Armenia![]() November 10, 2025 - 17:54 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Kazakhstan is ready to deliver 15,000 to 20,000 tons of food-grade wheat to Armenia each month, according to the country’s Ministry of Agriculture. The ministry noted that Prodcorporation, a state-run company under its jurisdiction, is in talks with Armenian counterparts who have shown interest in regular imports of Kazakh wheat. The company added that the volume of wheat exports to Yerevan could increase in the future, Sputnik Armenia reports. Last week, for the first time since Armenia’s independence, Kazakhstan shipped wheat to the country via a transit route through Azerbaijan. The train, consisting of 15 wagons and carrying 1,000 tons of wheat, traveled through Russia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia before reaching Armenia. Yerevan has dismissed Turkey’s demand to shut down the Armenian nuclear power plant as “inappropriate”. Armenia will loan 2.9 billion drams to Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh), according to a draft government decision. The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan has “strongly condemned” Armenia’s decision. Kerobyan has said that for the first time in the history of Armenia, the volume of foreign direct investments amounted to about $1 billion. Partner news |
