Alex 33 station fined for underfilling fuel

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia's Market Surveillance Inspection Body conducted an inspection at an Alex 33 LLC fuel station in the city of Vagharshapat, located at 4/4 Manushyan Street, where gasoline, diesel fuel and liquefied petroleum gas are sold.

During the inspection, authorities found evidence of underfilling, meaning customers were supplied with less fuel than indicated.

As a result, the operator was held administratively liable and fined 2,239,209 drams.

Based on the recorded violation, the head of the Market Surveillance Inspection Body, Armen Kotolyan, ordered that a sign reading “We have been fined for underfilling” be displayed at the fuel station for one month.
