Union of Writers of Armenia to hold extra meeting

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Union of Writers of Armenia will hold an extra meeting on July 4.

However, according to writer Razmik Davoyan the meeting is illegal, since it violates the charter of the union.

"All actions of the union have been illegal since 2007. It should be reformed to create a favorable atmosphere," he said.

Davoyan said if he is elected chairman of the union he will tackle the membership problems and will ensure annual publication of best 10 works and awards for them.
