Turkey - the hostage of Azerbaijan's energy resources
Turkey cannot resist Azerbaijan's pressures, since the latter holds the country's key to Europe, NA representative, MP Vardan Khachatryan told a news conference in Yerevan, touching upon Europe's interest in Azerbaijan's energy resources.

That's the reason Armenian-Turkish rapprochement talks discontinued, causing Turkish President to leave for Baku to announce that "Armenian-Turkish border will not open unless Karabakh conflict is settled".

Besides, Khachatryan noted, Turkish side did not agree to view two processes as separate issues and shifted the primary focus on NKR conflict settlement.

"If border does not open, the problem may find an interim solution: Armenia and Turkey may appoint Consuls who will reside in Tbilisi," Khachatryan said.
