Countries of South Caucasus not benefit from dividing lines in region

PanARMENIAN.Net - After resolving the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the South Caucasus as an entire region should be included in a single security system, since none of regional countries benefits from dividing lines, Armenia's Foreign Minister in 1996-98 Alexander Arzoumanian told a press conference in Yerevan, answering journalists' questions of whether Azerbaijan's accession to CSTO is possible.

According to Mr. Arzoumanian, this can be achieved only after the resolution of the Artsakh problem. "It is difficult to say which international security system the South Caucasus countries will seek," the ex-Minister of Foreign Affairs said.
