Yerevan hosts Tigran Petrosian chess championship

PanARMENIAN.Net - A chess championship to honor World Chess Champion Tigran Petrosian launched in Yerevan on December 13, hosting over 50 participants ranked above 2201, will be completed on December 22.

2010 Armenian champion Avetik Grigoryan is participating in an open tournament held in Bulgarian city of Bansco. In the first tour, the Armenian chess player scored a victory over Victor Koroglu of Greece. The tournament hosts 1147 chess players.
