However, Armenia never sold or resold weapons to Iran, as we don’t have an agreement on military cooperation,” Sargsyan said in an interview with Echo of Moscow. As to Iran’s nuclear program, the President said that Armenia recognizes Iran’s right to develop nuclear energy for peaceful purposes. “Of course, we would welcome IAEA control over this program,” he added. Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
