Expert: psychological help sought by mainly young people in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - In Armenia, psychological help is sought by mainly young people, who’re more vulnerable at that age, psychologist Karine Nalchajyan said.

As she told a news conference in Yerevan, women, more often than men, seek psychological help.

A culture of psychiatric visits hasn’t yet been formed in Armenian society, Ms. Nalchajyan noted. “People are worried about being labeled “insane” if their visits to a psychologist became known,” she said.
