Armenian parliament discusses amendments to law on taxes

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian parliament discussed the bill on introducing amendments to the RA law On Taxes in the first reading during an extraordinary sitting on June 21.

“The bill originates from the RA government programs for improvement of business atmosphere in the country. Besides, amendments are envisaged to boost transparency in paying taxes electronically,” Armenian Minister of Finance Vache Gabrielyan, who acted as a rapporteur.

Answering the question of a member of parliament from Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) Dashnaktsutyun, Ara Nranyan, the Minister said that the bill supposes that companies with annual turnover totaling AMD 58 million are to submit their tax reports electronically, whereas companies with smaller turnover may present their reports either electronically or on paper.
