"China welcomes the direct dialogue of the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan and international efforts aimed at finding peaceful solution to the Karabakh conflict", says the joint communique signed today in Peking by the President of the People's Republic of China Jiang Zemin and the Prime Minister of Armenia Andranik Margarian.As Mediamax was informed in the press service of the government of Armenia, the parties hope that "in the course of negotiations a rational and fair solution to the Karabakh problem will be found, which will correspond to recognized norms and international right principles". The communique notes that Armenia continues to adhere to the principle position of "United China", according to which Taiwan is inseparable part of China.
