Turkish Foreign Minister preparing for Middle East tour![]() July 1, 2011 - 13:43 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu said that he is preparing for a tour of Middle East where mass demonstrations against decrepit old leaders have rocked the region since January and toppled two regimes in Egypt and Tunisia, Today’s Zaman reported. Davutoğlu told reporters in Montenegro on Thursday, June 30, that he is also planning to visit Syria as part of his Middle East tour. The Turkish Foreign Minister is currently in Budva, Montenegro, representing Turkey at a meeting of the heads of state and government of the Southeast European Cooperation Process (SEECP). He added that Turkey is closely monitoring events in Syria and that “wherever he is in the world, one of his ears listen to the Middle East and Syria.” ![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
