RF Defense Ministry won’t purchase Russian outdated tanks

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russian Defense Ministry won’t purchase the locally manufactured tanks, unless they meet modern international standards.

“We have meet with designers who offered their groundwork but this was outdated for most and we rejected,” Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov told journalists in Moscow. “The Ministry aims to find an optimal way of modernization and offered designers to develop a new model of tank,” he said.
