Azerbaijan finds new springboard for Anti-Armenian propaganda – Indonesia![]() PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijan engages new countries in its Anti-Armenian propaganda , regardless of their geographic location and significance. This time the choice stopped on Indonesia. How many Indonesian will be able to show South Caucasus on the map, let alone Azerbaijan; however this does not matter for Baku, as this is a “white field” which can be used for upbringing Anti-Armenian propaganda. Azeri media outlets solemnly announced that the Parliament of Indonesia plans creation of a special task force on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict aimed to raise “true awareness” of Indonesian population on this problem. Before that, Embassy of Azerbaijan carried out a tour of meetings in Universities and Parliament of that country with this purpose. It is unknown, why Indonesian students and Parliamentarians need information on Nagorno Karabakh, let alone Azeri variant of ‘true information’, strongly deferring from reality. Moreover, Azeri Embassy arranged hearings on Karabakh problem in the Indonesian Parliament. We shall try to find out on the results of hearings contacting with the representatives of Indonesia; it is not worthy traditionally to rely on Azeri press information in this issue. According to Chargé d'affaires of Azerbaijan in Indonesia Farid Talybov, Indonesia always “demonstrated solidarity with Azerbaijan’s stand” in Karabakh issue. How Jakarta may help Azerbaijan in the fight against Armenia, in which for Baku “everything was fair in love and war”? Only by giving +1 vote in next Anti-Armenian resolutions in UN and Organization of Islamic Conference to which Baku is affiliated to. But these resolutions are not significant, as it is known, as they carry reference character. Nevertheless, Azerbaijan continues its “propagandist expansion” globally, hypothetically, based on principle: “everything is useful in the household”. The Karabakh War was fought from 1991 (when the Nagorno Karabakh Republic was proclaimed) to 1994 (when a ceasefire was sealed by Armenia, NKR and Azerbaijan). Most of Nagorno Karabakh and a security zone consisting of 7 regions are now under control of NKR defense army. Armenia and Azerbaijan are holding peace talks mediated by the OSCE Minsk Group up till now.
