Placido Domingo may stage Armenian opera in L.A.

PanARMENIAN.Net - On the sidelines of his visit to U.S., Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met with a world-famous Spanish tenor Placido Domingo in Los Angeles.

During the meeting, Mr. Domingo shared his warmest memories of Armenia. The tenor thanked the President for hearty welcome he was offered at his previous visit and expressing a wish to perform in Armenia again.

Mr. Domingo further briefed Mr. Sargsyan on his plan to stage an Armenian opera in L.A, with either Anoush or David Beg to be chosen, presidential press service reported.
