Armenian ambassador, Uruguayan FM discuss Karabakh conflict

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian ambassador to Uruguay Vladimir Karmishalyan met with a number of high-ranking officials on the sidelines of celebrations of Armenia’s independence anniversary to discuss bilateral relations and the activity of interparliamentary groups.

In a conversation with Foreign Minister Luis Almagro, amb. Karmishalyan referred to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict resolution and confirmed the invitation of Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian to his Uruguayan counterpart.

During the September 9 meeting with Hat Dat Latin American chapter, Mr. Almagro said that his country is developing an official stance on Karabakh issue. “I am personally convinced that Nagorno Karabakh is part of historic Armenia and must join it within shortest terms. This is the only solution to the Karabakh problem,” he said.
