During a phone conversation with President Abdullah Gul, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev expressed his condolences to Turkish people on Oct 23 devastating earthquake.

In a conversation, Russian President expressed readiness to extend necessary support whenever required by Turkish partners.

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, currently in Moscow for a state visit, joined in the conversation to express his sympathy for earthquake victims and offer support.

President Gul thanked the Armenian leader for the solidarity expressed, Russian President’s press service reported.
