AIMF General Assembly will strengthen Armenia position in Francophone family

PanARMENIAN.Net - On October 26, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with Paris Mayor Bertrand Delanoe.

At the meeting, the Minister thanked Mr. Delanoe for joint programs implemented over the last 10 years as well as active participation in the events dedicated to the Year of Armenia in France.

The Mayor, in turn, expressed hope for fulfilment of agreements signed to strengthen the ties between the two capital cities, countries and nations.

In conclusion, the parties emphasized the importance of Yerevan-hosted 31st General Assembly of the International Association of Francophone Mayors (AIMF), expressing certainty for the event to contribute to Armenia’s position in a Francophone family, Foreign Ministry press service reported.
