To combat corruption Armenian mentality should be changed

PanARMENIAN.Net - To combat corruption, Armenian mentality and general approach to the phenomenon should be changed, RA Minister of Education and Science told a press seminar.

According to Ashotyan, civilians should be more interested not in students who enter Higher education institutions but in graduates.

Minister Armen Ashotyan noted that according to polls, 40% of parents don’t deem agreement on their children’s entering higher education institutions corruption. Neither half the students asked deem displaying “certain attitude” towards professors before and after exams corruption. In this context, corruption is a double-edged sword.

According to Mr. Ashotyan, to rectify the existing situation nation should struggle for its legal rights, and the youth should acknowledge the fact that only education is a key to success.
