Free treatment provided to 3115 in Aragatsotn through Orange, AECP project

PanARMENIAN.Net - Orange Foundation and Armenian Eye Care Project (AECP) summarized the results of joint charity program envisaging provision of free eye screening and treatment of socially vulnerable residents of Aragatsotn Province.

Thus, 1800 adults and 1300 children have undergone eye screening, around 600 adults have undergone deep eye screening in the mobile hospital, over 600 glasses have been provided. Around 200 surgeries and laser treatments have been conducted in the mobile hospital.

In the frames of the project, special eye care awareness classes have been conducted for around 500 school children in the Province.

Eye care mobile hospital traveled through the towns Tsakhkahovit, Aparan, Talin to be stationed in Ashtarak till November 20.

Implementation of AECP activities was made possible though Orange Foundation’s AMD 5 million donation.
